The Alec Lankester match between Melton BC and the Woodbridge League teams playing 6 rinks of triples was played on 14 August with Melton running out winners by 119 to 106 shots.

An enjoyable evening of bowls and refreshments afterwards with thanks to all involved.
The match rink fees and donations of £97 was collected in aid of the St Elizabeth Hospice.
